Kiki’s Koi-Koi – a Japanese card game.

Welcome to Kiki’s Koi-Koi a game based on the Japanese card game Koi-Koi.

This game does an excellent job presenting and playing a card game.  The animations are very well done.  The tutorials and help are outstanding and are great for someone trying to learn the game.

Where I struggle with  the game is the terminology.  Even with great help and tutorials, I still guess a lot and depend on the hints to play the game.  This is not a fault of the game because they do a lot to help you learn the rules and strategies.

I’m the kind of player I need to be able to pick the game up quickly and despite all the help the game provides, I struggled with it.  But you should not read my failure as a failure of the game.  You should see how long it took me to figure out “Freecell!” and that’s with standard cards!  If you want to be good at the game quickly, you’re going to have to commit a bit more resources to learning the game.  If you are familiar with it,  you will 100% love it.  If you pick up these kinds of games quickly, run to the app store and grab this one now.

The overall graphics are well done.
Pleasing audio track, but minimal sound effects. But then its a card game, soundFX are not needed.
The game has good help and tutorials and plays very well.
If your a fan of the game, this is a must have!
