Hello Farm for Kids – a wonderful experience for children
Hello Farm for Kids is a title from the publisher of Hello Zoo for Kids which we reviewed recently. The game boasts the same art style for the animals which is a very playful and fun. Combined with good sound effects and various modes of play, this app is a wonderful companion to entertain children for hours.
For the youngest of kids, they can just tap the screen to have new animals appear and make sounds with backgrounds in various farm scenes. With swipe jesters the background changes.
For older kids with a little more dexterity, a simple memory game with the animals is available. The game plays in easy, medium and hard modes providing challenges for multiple ages of players.
An in-app purchase of $0.99 will unlock a third puzzle game as well as unlocking more graphics and animals. The game also has a learning mode where the players can learn about the animals. My only issue with the game is that some of the buttons, like the menu, and such tend to move around, but for the target audience this is hardly an issue.

Animals come to life in Hello Farm app from Digital Media Interactive
Los Angeles, California – Digital Media Interactive announces the
arrival of baby’s next animal app, Hello Farm, a fun and educational
iPhone/iPad/iPod touch app for infants and toddlers, and sequel to the
world renowned Hello Zoo. Designed to engage young eyes from the
moo-ing cows to the colorful and engaging artwork, this app is sure to
entertain for hours.
Touch anywhere in the landscape background to trigger snorting pigs,
flying owls, bouncing bunnies, and more. Animals from around the farm
jump from the screen, say hello with signature movements and sounds,
and run or zoom off into the distance. Swipe the screen, and the
background changes to a new and exciting farm scene for kids to
explore. Within minutes, a child will learn the basics of operating an
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Short and engaging bios paired with beautiful farm scenes make for a
parent-interactive experience. Children can scroll through areas of
the farm, see which animals live there, and learn about their furry
friends before a trip to a farm or petting zoo.
A flip card matching game, with progressive difficulty levels, helps
young children develop their memory and recognition skills.
The app can be customized for younger babies, so that backgrounds are
white and fewer characters appear at one time. Animals will appear
after a period of inactivity to keep their attention. Multi-touch
gestures can be disabled so the child cannot switch apps
Digital Media Interactive believes that all games should be
entertaining as well as help the world in a positive way. Within the
game, there is a direct link to the World Wildlife Fund where parents
may donate or read more information about wildlife
